To identify a clear sign that one is in their young adult years, is knowing that brunch is an integral part of celebrating one's birthday. Janna, a good friend from SF State, invited me for her day, at Pink Elephant located on Minna Street in the City. For those of you who may not know what it is, it is essentially the best place to get brunch.
If you think otherwise...let me know of any other cool spots. I am obsessed with brunch at this point.
Think of it as if you were going to the club in the day time with unlimited mimosas of any juice combination you can think of to marry with Heaven's juice, or what some may call: champagne.
That being said, I was just happy to celebrate with Janna and many of my other friends that I haven't seen in awhile. I wanted to take a few candid photos of them to really encapsulate this jovial sense of friendship amongst all of us (and some cool contemplative shots, because why not). As we went from Pink Elephant to the sky bar in the Marriott in SOMA, the sun was at a point where much of the natural lighting created interesting patterns on some of the buildings.
Still, though it wasn't photographed, we ended our day, enjoying some cream puffs at Beard Papa, which now makes me wish that I had some at this very moment.
Like a human Kirby who will literally eat almost anything.
