Like the Wind

I had the fortune of flying out to Chicago for a work trip and on my downtime, I had a few hours to kill, on some days, which gave a good window of opportunity to take photos around the city. Whenever I’m traveling, I always like being a fly on the wall and capturing a story as quietly as possible, so that I don’t disrupt the scene that’s happening. Whether if that’s a girl in awe of a huge screen with a face on it, reminiscent of George Orwell’s 1984, or a scene of an older couple talking, with a bit of distance between them and even the viewer, I like just playing to the scene in front of me.

Chicago was a wonderful city. There’s an energy to it, as it’s full of art and culture. Its history is embedded in its roots of many respected architects and this gives the city a unique footing in the American landscape. Some day, when I’m able to revisit, I hope to just immerse myself further in the art that’s there.
